Scope of Works: At Bermondsey Square, we carried out comprehensive fire protection works, ensuring compliance with fire safety regulations and enhancing the building’s overall fire integrity. This critical work prevents the spread of fire and smoke, maintaining effective compartmentation.
Additionally, we undertook fire door remedial works on 100 door sets, addressing various deficiencies to restore their fire-resistant properties. This involved adjusting door gaps, replacing intumescent strips and smoke seals, ensuring correct hinge installations, and confirming self-closing mechanisms were fully operational.
Our team completed the project efficiently and to a high standard, minimising disruption while prioritising safety. These measures significantly improved the building’s passive fire protection, ensuring it meets fire safety compliance and provides enhanced protection for occupants.
